In line with our mission statement, we are constantly pushing the boundaries of what is possible and exploring ways to increase access to the theatre across the community.

One of the biggest hindrances to the amateur theatre community is the conflict between putting on the best show possible, and managing costs.

​

We recently spoke to local businesses recently and asked them to join our:

​

'Maghull Musical Theatre Company - Corporate Community Sponsorship Scheme'.

​

This scheme was set up in celebration of our 50th Anniversary year. It allows young performers to gain access to the theatre, whilst ensuring the continuity of a charitable theatre company that is the stalwart within this local community.

​

We asked our sponsors to purchase a package of tickets on behalf of local students, to help give aspiring young theatrics the opportunity to attend the theatre.

 

These tickets are passed to many local schools, colleges and performing arts schools who would have liked to bring their GCSE and A-Level Performing Arts students, but could not foot the cost during time of financial hardship.

The scheme, now in its second year, has helped and inspired many young people who would not normally have access to live theatre performances.
